ABOUT

Yasha Butler's work is driven by a fascination with how our surroundings and the objects we encounter shape our emotions. Certain environments can overwhelm us, while others offer tranquility. As a young designer, Butler aspired to create spaces that foster a sense of wholeness. However, capturing this elusive beauty proved challenging.

To navigate this, she first turned inward, seeking the elements that personally grounded her. Then, Butler distilled these elements to their essence, allowing them to shape her creative process. This journey led her to create minimalist ceramic artwork, inspired by nature, antiquity, and the beauty found in life’s imperfections.
