Minimalist Lithic Vessels in Caria Grey

It’s fun to go places and then see traces of their memories in the artwork that I create.
We recently spent a lovely weekend in Galway.
The weather was just as we expected – lots of grey clouds, rain and wind. We enjoyed some amazing food and great coffee. We also spent hours at the aquarium letting fish kiss our hands, playing with spiky starfish and cradling spider crabs (nowadays our schedule revolves mostly around a 5 year old!!)
These Lithic Vessels immediately take me back to Galway.
The cool greyish colors and distressed textures remind me of the overcast skies and cold dark waters of the Atlantic.
I love how art can transport you places.
It’s like having a little magic in your own home.
