I create artwork that invites
moments of calm, helping us connect
more deeply with ourselves.
I’ve put together a little something for you. (The truth is, I first created this for myself and it has really helped me!)
These are some very unsettling times. Frequently, I have found myself in an unending loop of checking my phone, freaking out, telling myself it doesn’t do my sanity any good, then 10 seconds later checking my phone again.
You too?? Well, I created a very simple way to disrupt the cycle.
I turned 5 of my most beautiful and serene vessels into phone backgrounds. Now, whenever I pick up my phone the first thing I see is a calming image.
It’s nothing earth-shattering, but it’s actually worked great for me. So, I thought you might want to try it out too!!
You can click the words “get your calming backgrounds” below to have the images emailed to you.
Don’t forget to open the email on your phone, so you can download the images directly to your camera roll.
Please feel free to email if you have any questions or if you’d like to let me know how this little calming experiment goes for you!!

Your work is amazing! I truly LOVE the simplicity of your work, which it is a far cry for most to achieve. I discovered your information from the June/July “Ceramics Monthly”. Love the idea of the phone backgrounds. Look forward to seeing what upcoming creations you have in store.
